Here’s a little bit about us. I am originally from Michigan and my beautiful wife, Leslie, is from Mexico. We met in Texas, where I lived for about 14 years. We married in 2013. In July 2014 we moved to Virginia so I could attend Regent University School of Law. I graduated in May 2017. I’m currently looking for employment and will be studying for the bar exam. My wife teaches at a Christian school in the Virginia Beach area.
Growing up in the Great Lakes area gave me a love for water and waterfalls. One of the greatest joys of my life is wading into a stream and getting up close with a waterfall, feeling the cool water pour over my body. I like to relate that to my walk with God, the intimacy we can have when we walk with God in deep fellowship. His voice is like “the sound of many waters” (Ezekiel 43:2). I hope that this blog will be a reflection of my walk with God and the things that He speaks to me, and I hope such will be an encouragement to you as you seek the Lord.
We also have a heart for missions, to go into all the world and preach the gospel. I’ve been on several missions trips to Central America and, as the Lord opens the door, we hope to travel in other nations around the world to preach the gospel and minister God’s compassion to people in need. We hope this blog is an encouragement to you!
